The Bonventi Company, located in Melara (Italy), has been operating for over 40 years in the heating sector, and it is leader in the production of storage tanks in satinless steel AISI 316L and carbon steel. The diversified production of kettles allows costumers to choose properly according to dimension, storage capacity, installation and adaptability for what concern the use in heating systems, solar panels and renewable energy.

The kettles construction and realization is followed in every aspect, to ensure a quality product made by employing the latest ganeration machinery. Every tank is subjected to strict quality controls. Our strength, unlike large companies, is the flexibility which allows us to be competitive both for needs of mass production and for customized or special projects.
Our items are produced in accordance with the main international regulations: Directive 97/23/CE (PED); Regulation ASME “Boiler and pressure vessel code”. Here are our phases:
- Calendering of plating
The cylindrical tanks have three sections. The first operation consist in calendering and perforating the flat sheet. The plating, obtained through calendering, is knitted on a cooled support along its generator.
- Assembling and Welding
All single pieces are assembled through joints. An automatic system is used both for the longitudinal and the circumferential welding.
This last phase is necessary to assess the suitability to the use of the previously knitted pieces and get them ready for the packing. All the tanks produced are tested and tried in accordance to the regulations above, for this reason are made accurate checks on welded joints, which are also subjected to hydrostatic pressure test in order to verify their constructive compliance.
- Degreasing for stainless steel models
At this stage in the stainless steel parts are removed oils and service that have occurred on social processes.
- Pickling and Passivating
Treatment in a bathtub immersion at external temperature. That way welding oxides are eliminated. The last wash in demi water is used to eliminate any limestone traces
To achieve the goal of quality is necessary an ongoing improvement made by all of us, and implies an everyday search for system defects and anomalies in order to remove them and prevent their recurrence. For this reason our company is very careful about suppliers, which are supposed to have certifications about materials and productions and, more important, it is applying and experimenting new analysis methods on building materials and welded joints, thanks to dynamic tests applied on kettles and tanks.
